How long does a spray cartridge last?

Each cartridge holds about 35 sprays, so a dog that barks often will need refills within days to a few weeks. Two cartridges are included.

Will it go off when another dog barks?

It is designed not to. The collar must sense both vibration and sound from your dog before it sprays.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 40 hours per charge, and a full charge takes about 2 hours.

What size dogs does it fit?

Dogs 8 lb and up, with necks up to 27 inches.

No. It is water resistant, so light rain is fine but swimming or heavy soaking is not.

About the PetSafe Spray Bark Collar

During bark training, consistency is key. That's why we designed the PetSafe Spray Bark Collar as a consistent way to correct your dog's barking without a remote. This spray bark collar detects your dog's barking and immediately releases a gentle burst of spray to distract him from the mailman or the neighbor's cat. Your dog will never be corrected because of another dog's bark or a loud outside noise because the dual detection technology in this collar must sense both vibration and sound before spraying. Because the spray is immediate and consistent, your dog will learn to associate his barking with a correction and change his behavior within as little as 2 weeks. That's a win for you, your furry best friend, and your mailman. Your pet deserves the best. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.
