Is the Airfryer XXL Connected worth it over a cheaper air fryer?

If you cook for four or more and want app control, the large basket and presets justify the premium. For one or two people, a smaller and cheaper model does the same job.

How does it compare with the non-connected XXL?

Cooking performance and basket size are the same. The Connected adds Wi-Fi app control, guided recipes and remote start, which the standard XXL lacks.

What can I fit in the 6-liter basket?

Up to 1.4 kg of food, roughly a whole chicken, a tray of fries for four or a batch of wings. It is a single basket, so you cook courses one after another.

Does it need preheating?

Philips designs most recipes without preheating, though adding 3 minutes at 200°C helps for frozen fries and breaded items.

The fryer, a removable metal basket and pan, and a quick-start guide. Check the listing for any included accessories.

Air fryers typically drop during Black Friday and end-of-summer sales. Set a price alert and compare across stores rather than buying at list price.
