Is the MG9520 worth it over the Multigroom 7000?

The 9000 adds a stainless steel body, more attachments and a longer 6-hour runtime, plus an 8-year warranty. If you only trim beards occasionally, the cheaper 7000 covers the basics.

Can I use it in the shower?

Yes. It is 100% shower proof and works wet or dry. Rinse the head under running water after use.

How long does the battery last and how fast does it charge?

Philips rates it at up to 6 hours of runtime. A full charge takes about 3 hours, and a 5-minute quick charge gives enough power for one trim.

Does it come with a charging adapter?

No. The box includes a USB-A charging cable but no wall adapter, so you need your own USB power source.

Can I use it while it is plugged in?

No. It is cordless use only, so it will not run while charging.

What length range does it cover?

It has 27 settings from 0.5 mm to 20 mm, with precision steps as fine as 0.2 mm for fades and stubble.
