Is the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 worth $219.99?

At $219.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a premium rotary shaver. It is worth it if you want a close wet/dry shave and a trimmer in one kit; casual shavers can spend less.

How does it compare with the Shaver 7000 series?

The 9000 adds a smarter motor and more premium heads over the 7000 line. The 7000 is the better value if you shave a few times a week rather than daily.

Can I use it in the shower?

Yes. It is a wet/dry shaver, so you can use it with gel or foam and rinse it under water.

What comes in the box?

The shaver, the click-on beard trimmer, a charging stand or cable and a protective cap. Check the listing for the exact accessories.

Rotary shavers usually drop during Black Friday and Father's Day sales. Watch the price history rather than buying on the first discount.

Our take on the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 Series with Beard Trimmer

The Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 is a cordless rotary shaver with a click-on beard trimmer, wet/dry use and a black finish. It sits near the top of Philips' rotary lineup, with pivoting heads and a motion-sensing motor that adjusts power to beard density. At $219.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no lower store to compare against right now.
