Is the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 Series worth it?

It is a premium rotary shaver with self-sharpening blades, a stubble-sensing motor and a waterproof body. If you want a close shave with wet or dry flexibility and beard trimming in one tool, the feature set is strong. At $197.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is priced at the top of the electric shaver market.

How does it compare with the 7000 Series?

The 9000 Series adds the Power Adapt Sensor, an OLED display and Dual SteelPrecision blades over the lower 7000 line. The 7000 is cheaper but has fewer smart features. Choose the 9000 if you want the closest shave and the display; the 7000 saves money.

How long does the battery last and how fast does it charge?

A full charge gives 60 minutes of cordless shaving. A 5-minute quick charge provides enough power for one shave. The OLED display shows the remaining battery level.

Can I use it in the shower?

Yes. The body is fully waterproof, so you can shave wet with gel or foam or dry. Rinse it under the tap to clean.

The shaver comes with a click-on beard styler with 5 length settings and a precision trimmer. Check the listing for the exact charger and case contents.

Only one new price is listed: $197.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026. Electric shavers often drop during Black Friday and holiday sales, so watch for those periods.
