Is the Ping G Le3 fairway wood good for beginners?

Yes. The light build, shallow face and low CG make it one of the easier fairway woods to launch for newer or slower-swinging players.

What is the difference between the G Le3 and the G430 fairway?

The G Le3 is built lighter with ladies flex as standard and a more forgiving, higher-launch shape. The G430 is a heavier, adjustable club aimed at faster swings.

Does it come in a men's or regular flex?

No. The G Le3 line is women's-specific and this club is ladies flex only.

Our take on the Ping G Le3 Fairway Wood

The Ping G Le3 fairway wood is a lightweight, women's-specific fairway built for slower swing speeds, with a shallow face and low center of gravity to help get the ball airborne. Ping's G Le3 line uses lighter shafts and grips and a thinner face to add ball speed without extra effort. The listing is for a right-handed ladies-flex club in gold, and the set counts suggest a mixed set of 5, 7 and 9 woods rather than a single fairway. The best new price is $299.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore as of November 7, 2026, with two stores listing it new.
