Is the Ping G440 SFT a good fit for a slicer?

Yes. The SFT stands for Straight Flight Technology, with weight moved toward the heel to help close the face and reduce a left-to-right miss. If you already draw the ball, consider the standard G440 instead.

What does this listing include?

One left-handed 19-degree fairway wood with a stiff graphite shaft. It is a single club, not a set, and no headcover is confirmed in the listing.

How does the G440 SFT compare with the G430 SFT?

Ping's G440 line moves to a lighter carbon crown and refined shaping for a bit more speed and a slightly more compact look. The draw-bias intent of the SFT model carries over.

Is $367 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $367.00 at Carl's Golfland as of November 7, 2026, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against. Used or prior-generation SFT fairway woods usually cost less.

Is a stiff shaft right for me?

Stiff flex suits faster swing speeds, roughly 95 mph and up with a driver. Slower swingers usually get better launch and distance from regular flex.

Ping fairway woods typically see the deepest discounts when a new generation launches or during end-of-season sales. With one new listing now, watch for price drops after the next Ping release.

Where is the Ping G440 SFT Fairway Woods cheapest?

Our take on the Ping G440 SFT Fairway Woods

The Ping G440 SFT is a draw-biased fairway wood built to fight a slice and square the face for golfers who lose shots right. This listing is the 19-degree 3-wood in left-handed, stiff flex with a graphite shaft. It is a single club, not a set. The best new price is $367.00 at Carl's Golfland as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
