Questions and answers

Is the AlinoX 300 worth it?
For anglers who need high drag and heavy braid capacity without spending much, yes. It is not the reel for light lures or fast retrieves.
What is the AlinoX 300 best for?
Big swimbaits, glide baits, pike, catfish and inshore saltwater species. The 33 lb drag and 205-yard braid capacity suit those jobs.
Is 5.9:1 too slow?
It is on the slow side. That suits big baits and cranking power, but it is not ideal for burning lures or fast jigging.
Is it saltwater safe?
Piscifun lists it for inshore saltwater and freshwater. Rinse it with fresh water after saltwater use and keep the drag and bearings maintained.
Is it left-hand or right-hand retrieve?
This listing is left-hand retrieve, meaning the handle is on the left side. Check the model before buying if you cast right-handed.
How much line does it hold?
It holds 205 yards of 40 lb braid. That is enough for long casts with big baits and for fish that run.
What do buyers say about the Piscifun AlinoX Size 300 Low Profile Baitcasting Reel?
