Is the walnut finish real walnut wood?

No. The table is solid pine with a walnut-colored finish. The grain and tone read as walnut, but the wood underneath is pine.

How hard is assembly?

It ships flat with the legs and hardware separate. Most people can put it together in under an hour with a screwdriver or the included Allen key; two people help when flipping it upright.

Will it fit in front of a standard sofa?

At 48 inches wide it suits sofas roughly 70 to 85 inches long. Leave about 16 to 18 inches between the sofa and the table for legroom.

How do I care for the finish?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners and standing water, and use coasters under hot or wet items.

Is $189.99 a good price?

It is the best new price across the three stores carrying it as of November 7, 2026. Solid pine tables of this size often run $200 to $300, so it sits at the low end.

Does it come with a shelf or storage?

No. It is a single open-top table with four legs and no lower shelf, so plan on baskets or a separate console for storage.
