Is the Plush Towel Set worth the price?

If you want a heavy, hotel-style towel that stays soft, yes. If you prefer quick-drying, lightweight towels or need a budget set, the 700 GSM weight works against you.

How does it compare with cheaper big-box towels?

It is noticeably heavier and denser than typical big-box towels, which are usually 400 to 600 GSM. The trade-off is slower drying and a higher price.

What sizes are in the set?

Bath towel is 30x58 inches, hand towel 18x30, washcloth 13x13, and the bath sheet is 30x64. The bath sheet is the option for taller or larger users.

Does it shrink or shed in the wash?

Zero-twist cotton can shed lint for the first few washes and may shrink slightly. Wash cold and tumble low to limit both.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

It carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, meaning it was tested for harmful substances. The pile is 90% cotton with a 10% polyester base.

Watch for seasonal sales and bundle discounts from the seller; towel sets typically drop during back-to-school and holiday promotions.

Our take on the Plush Towel Set

The Plush Towel Set is a zero-twist cotton terry set built at a heavy 700 GSM, sold by Benji Sleep in bath towel, hand towel, washcloth and bath sheet sizes. The zero-twist yarn makes it soft out of the bag and fluffier after washing, and the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification covers chemical safety. The bath towel is 30 by 58 inches and the bath sheet 30 by 64 inches, so both wrap easily around most adults. It is a premium-priced set rather than a budget one, and the main trade-off is bulk: 700 GSM towels are slow to line-dry and take up shelf space.

What reviewers say

Owners consistently describe the set as very soft, thick and absorbent, with several noting it is larger than expected. The recurring complaint is sizing and color choice at the top end, not quality.

Dries well despite the weight
Thick and absorbent
Larger than expected

Cons

Wants an extra-large size for bigger bodies
Wants the large about 4 inches longer
