Is the Polaroid Now 3rd Generation worth it?

If you want a simple instant camera with autofocus and no battery shopping, yes. At $119.99 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, it is near the bottom of its recent price range, and the bundle includes film.

What film does it take?

It uses Polaroid i-Type film, and 600 film also works. Each pack gives 8 shots, and the bundle includes two color packs.

How does it differ from the Now 2nd generation?

The 3rd generation keeps the twin-lens autofocus and rechargeable battery and adds recycled materials in the body. It is an incremental update, not a redesign.

How long does the battery last?

Polaroid rates it for up to 15 film packs per charge, which is 120 shots. It charges over USB-C.

The camera, two packs of 8 color i-Type film (16 shots total), and a USB-C charging cable. Film and camera ship together, so check the film expiry date when it arrives.

Instant camera prices dip around Black Friday and the holidays. The current $119.99 at Amazon is already near the low end of its recent range.
