Will it run on a small pancake compressor?

Usually not well. It draws 8.8 to 10.6 CFM at 60 to 100 PSI, and most pancake compressors deliver 2 to 4 CFM. Expect the gun to starve and lose cutting power. A compressor rated near 10 CFM or more is the right match.

What media can I use in it?

The spec allows grit up to 14, so coarse media such as aluminum oxide or glass bead in the coarse range works. Fine powders like baking soda or 220-grit media tend to clog the 5 mm nozzle.

What comes in the box?

The gun with its 30 oz hopper and ceramic nozzle. Air hose, quick couplers and abrasive media are not included, so budget for a 1/4" NPT hose and a bag of media.
