Our take on the Powerful Magnetic Flashlight High Lumen Rechargeable with COB Side Lights

This is a compact rechargeable tactical flashlight with a magnetic base, a COB side light panel and a claimed 100,000-lumen maximum output. It weighs 3.4 oz, is water resistant and charges by USB. The 100,000-lumen figure is far beyond what a light this size can physically produce, so treat the real output as much lower. No current price or store was provided, so there is no price history to compare against.

Best forCar and garage work where a magnetic base helpsCamping and power-outage backupAnyone who wants a flood side light and a spot beam in one toolSmall hands-on jobs under a hood or sink
Pros
  • Magnetic base sticks to steel surfaces for hands-free use
  • COB side panel gives a wide flood light for close work
  • Rechargeable, so no disposable batteries
  • Light at 3.4 oz and small enough for a pocket or glovebox
  • Water resistant for rain and damp use
Cons
  • 100,000-lumen claim is not credible for a 3.4 oz light; expect a fraction of that
  • No stated battery capacity, runtime or charge time
  • Lumen claims this inflated make brightness hard to compare with known brands
  • Single color option (red) and no listed beam distance or IP rating

Questions and answers

Is it really 100,000 lumens?
No. A 3.4 oz light cannot output 100,000 lumens; that figure is marketing. Expect a few hundred to about a thousand lumens at most, enough for close tasks and walking.
How long does the battery last?
The listing gives no battery capacity or runtime. In practice, small lights like this run for roughly an hour or two on high and several hours on low; charge time is also unstated.
Is it good for car repairs?
Yes, that is its best use. The magnetic base sticks to the hood or frame and the COB panel lights a wide area, leaving both hands free.
Is it waterproof?
It is listed as water resistant, not waterproof. It should handle rain and splashes, but do not submerge it.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not say. Expect the flashlight and a USB charging cable; a wall adapter is unlikely to be included.
When is it cheapest?
No price or store was given, so there is no price history to judge. Check the price history on this page before buying.
