Predator 212 Non-Hemi Complete Performance Kit with Shredder Head - Level I

Complete performance upgrade kit for the popular Predator 212 non-hemi head engine.

This kit will develop strong power on 93 octane pump gas, and can be rev'd out to 8,000rpms. Set your clutch or torque converter to lock up or stall up to 4300rpms and you'll rocket away! Always use a high zinc oil like Valvoline VR1 10w-30 in all flat tappet cam engines.

The kit includes everything needed to seriously wake up a stock Predator 212 non-hemi

ARC 6256 3.328" or ARC 6252 3.348" rod and 70mm x 23mm flat top piston kit for Predator 212 engines - Places the non-hemi dished or flat top piston for the desired compression ratio.

ARC 6625 Flywheel - 32* of timing and SFI approved, so that you'll rev up and actually make more power instead of the piston outrunning the flame front.

DynoCams CL-CM-PRED camshaft - .265" lift /236* @ .050" duration camshaft fits Predator 212 non-hemi engines.

Gasket Kit with 0.045" fire ring head gasket or 0.010" head gasket - just enough piston to head clearance to avoid contact and a 11.8:1 compression ratio with a 22.5mm compression height flat top piston and the Shredder head .025" below deck with a 0.010" head gasket. Optional 3.328 rod with the stock dished piston and 0.045" head gasket makes 10.1:1 compression for pump gas.

Shredder Head and Complete Carb Kit - Flows 80cfm and feeds 19hp. Comes fully assembled and includes stainless 28.5mm/24mm valves and 1.2:1 HD steel rocker arms. Comes with billet aluminum adapter, matching silicon boot with locking rib that fits the receiver groove in the adapter so your carburetor can't fall off, and a 26mm PWK style carburetor setup by us with a jet kit just in case. This kit also includes a cotton gauze air filter.

Stepped Head Dowel Pins - These adapt the 11mm head dowel pins to the 10mm dowel holes in the Shredder head.

This kit comes with a real ARC rod cut from 7075 billet, and an ARC flywheel with 32* of ignition advance that's been CNC cut from a billet of 6061 aluminum, so you can forget about striping flywheel keys and tearing up cranks, and it gives you the ignition advance you need to rev out and actually make power with the Shredder head. The DynoCams CM-224 cam has flame hardened lobes so it won't wear out on the opening ramp in five hours, and it doesn't have crazy duration, so you will actually have the mid range power that you need. The Shredder head flows 80 cubic feet per minute of air, or enough to feed 19hp, which has now been dyno verified. You can reuse your stock pushrods and lifters.
