Pros
  • Grilles between glass stay clean and can't be knocked loose
  • Fiberglass skin resists dents, rot and rust better than steel or wood
  • Arrives prehung with frame, threshold, hinges and weatherstrip
  • Full-lite glass lets in a lot of light for an entry door
  • 20-year limited warranty
Cons
  • Only one store lists it, so there is little price competition
  • 32-inch width is narrow for a main entry
  • Full glass gives up privacy and insulation versus a solid door
  • Grille and glass options add cost and lead time
  • Fiberglass needs repainting eventually to hold its finish

Questions and answers

What does "grills between glass" mean?
The grille bars that divide the 18 lights sit sealed inside the two panes of glass. You never have to dust between them, and they can't be removed or damaged.
What comes in the box?
The door arrives prehung in its frame with the threshold, hinges and weatherstrip installed. Handing and glass options are chosen at order.
Is this door good for a cold climate?
Fiberglass itself insulates reasonably well, but a full-lite glass panel loses more heat than a solid door. Look for the privacy or insulated glass option if winter performance matters.
Can I paint or stain it?
The Satin Smooth white version is meant to be painted. The tan Rift Cut Woodgrain texture is designed to take stain or paint and mimic wood grain.
Is $2,872 a good price?
It is the only new price listed as of November 8, 2026, so there is no cheaper store to compare against. Compare it to other prehung full-lite fiberglass systems in the same size before deciding.
What size opening does a 32 x 96 door need?
A 32-inch by 96-inch door fits a rough opening about 2 inches wider and 2 inches taller, so roughly 34 by 98 inches. Confirm framing before ordering.
Where is the Prehung Grills Between Glass 18 Light Flush Glazed Fiberglass Entry Door System - Full Lite cheapest?
At PeaseDoors.com, for $2,872.00, as of our latest check.
