Is the Presto 01282 electric or stovetop?

How much food does it hold?

It is a 6-quart cooker, enough for a whole chicken or a large batch of stew or stock.

Can I use it on an induction cooktop?

No. The aluminum body is not induction compatible, so it needs a gas, coil or ceramic burner.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Presto lists the cooker as dishwasher safe, though hand washing helps the nonstick coating last longer.

Is $84.59 a good price?

It is the lowest of the three new listings as of November 7, 2026, so it is a fair price for this model.
