Is the 8MP camera good enough for photos and video?

It is fine for quick snapshots and short clips in good light. Expect soft detail and noise in dim conditions, well behind a modern phone.

How long does the battery last?

Expect roughly a day of light use for audio and standby, and much less when recording or using Wi-Fi. Heavy video use can drain it in a couple of hours.

Do the lenses work as normal sunglasses?

Yes. The photochromic lenses darken in sunlight and clear indoors, so one pair covers most daytime use.

Do they need a phone app?

Yes, most functions like transferring photos and changing settings go through the companion app. Check that the app supports your phone before buying.

Can other people tell I am recording?

The glasses look like ordinary sunglasses, so recording is not obvious. Follow local privacy laws and tell people when you film them.

When is the best time to buy?

Smart glasses usually drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Compare prices across stores and check the price history before buying.
