Our take on the Pure2Improve Half Dome XL Instant Golf Net

The Pure2Improve Half Dome XL is a freestanding golf practice net that sets up in minutes and measures 120 x 60 x 90 inches, so it catches full shots with a driver. The half-dome shape uses a metal frame with nylon and polyester netting, and it suits beginners through advanced players hitting indoors or in a yard. It is a hitting net only: no launch monitor, no ball return, no target rings. Shoppers comparing it should weigh the large footprint and the open front against smaller cage-style nets.

Questions and answers

How big is the Pure2Improve Half Dome XL?: It measures 120 x 60 x 90 inches, so it is one of the larger home golf nets and needs a garage bay, a long room or a yard with clear space behind it.
Does it come with a hitting mat?: No. The package is the net and frame only, so you need your own mat and tees.
Can I hit a driver into it?: The dome shape is sized for full swings, but the nylon and polyester netting is best treated as practice-grade. Use reduced-flight or limited-flight balls for driver work.
Is it safe to use indoors?: It is designed for indoor and outdoor hitting, but the front is open. Keep enough clearance around and behind the net, and do not stand close to the frame.
How long does setup take?: The freestanding metal frame is built for quick assembly and takedown, typically a few minutes once you have done it once.
Is it worth it over a smaller cage net?: If you want to hit driver and high irons at home, the extra size is the point. If space is tight, a smaller cage net fits better.
Where can I buy the Pure2Improve Half Dome XL Instant Golf Net?: 2 stores we checked sell it, including GlobalGolf, Worldwide Golf Shops.
