Our take on the Ready America 2 Person 3 Day Deluxe Emergency Backpack

The Ready America 2-Person 3-Day Deluxe Emergency Backpack is a grab-and-go kit built for two people to survive roughly 72 hours after a disaster. It packs a first aid kit, a siren, multi-function tools, a small emergency power station and water in a waterproof backpack that weighs about 8.9 lb. The best new price is $21.50 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, far below what a full two-person kit usually costs, so check that listing carefully before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Ready America 2-person kit worth it?
For a first kit, yes. It covers the basics for two people for three days in one waterproof bag. Treat it as a starting point and add food, water and medications to fit your household.
What is included in the backpack?
The listed contents include a first aid kit, a siren, multi-function tools, an emergency power station and a BPA-free water bottle. Food and exact water quantities are not specified, so confirm the full contents before relying on it.
How long does the kit last before it needs replacing?
Ready America markets its supplies with a long shelf life, but individual items expire at different times. Check the dates on food, water and first aid supplies each year and replace what has expired.
Is $21.50 a good price?
That is very low for a two-person, three-day kit, which usually sells for considerably more. At $21.50 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, confirm the listing is new, complete and not a partial or expired kit.
Can one person carry it?
Yes. At 8.9 lb and 14 x 10 x 6 in., it is light enough for most adults to carry in a backpack. It is sized for two people's supplies, not two carriers.
Does it work for a car emergency kit?
It can. The waterproof backpack and compact size suit a trunk, and the siren and tools help if you are stranded. Add water, blankets and a phone charger for your climate.
