Is this bag warm enough for freezing temperatures?

It is rated 23°F to 41°F, but hollow cotton fill and a rectangular shape lose heat faster than a mummy bag. Treat the low end as a limit for warm sleepers and add a liner or pad below freezing.

Will it fit a tall or broad adult?

Yes. It is 79 inches long with extra width over a standard bag, which is the main reason buyers choose it.

Can I use it for backpacking?

Not comfortably. It weighs about 4 lbs and packs bulky, so it suits car camping, cabins and guest beds better than long hikes.

What comes in the box?

One sleeping bag in blue with a stuff sack. It has an inner pocket and a zipper plus Velcro closure.

Is $49.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $49.99 at redcamp as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against. For a flannel-lined extra-wide bag, that is a low entry price.
