Does it work with Serato or rekordbox?

No. The Buddy is designed around Algoriddim djay on iOS, so it is not a native Serato or rekordbox controller.

Do I need a subscription to use streaming services?

Yes. Tidal, Beatport and Apple Music streaming inside djay require a djay Pro subscription, separate from the controller price.
