Our take on the Retevis RT68H Two Way Radio with Earpieces and 6 Way Multi Charger(6 Pack)

The Retevis RT68H is a six-pack of FRS walkie-talkies built for group use, bundled with earpieces, belt clips and a six-bank charger that tops up all six radios from one outlet. Each radio runs a 1200mAh 3.7V Li-ion pack and has a shatterproof LED display. The bundle price is $149.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against. That works out to about $25 per radio, which is reasonable for a set that includes earpieces and a multi-unit charger.

Best for
Families and small crews who need six radios at once
Retail, restaurant and event staff using earpieces on shift
Outdoor groups such as camping, hiking and hunting parties
Buyers who want one charger for the whole set
Pros
  • Six radios, six earpieces and one six-way charger in a single box
  • 1200mAh Li-ion batteries are rechargeable, not disposable AAs
  • Earpieces keep radio traffic private in noisy or public settings
  • Shatterproof LED display holds up to drops and rough handling
  • FRS band needs no license in the US
  • Belt clips and lanyard strings included for each radio
Cons
  • FRS range is limited, typically under a mile in buildings or dense cover
  • 1200mAh batteries are small for all-day heavy use
  • Single six-bank charger means all radios charge in one spot
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin
  • No privacy codes or advanced features listed beyond basic FRS operation

Questions and answers

Is the Retevis RT68H worth it compared with buying six single radios?
At $149.99 for six radios plus earpieces and a six-way charger, the bundle costs roughly $25 per radio. Buying separately usually means paying for chargers and earpieces one at a time, so the kit is the better value if you need all six.
Do I need a license to use the RT68H?
No. It uses the FRS band, which is license-free in the US. You can hand radios to staff or family without any paperwork.
What is the range of these radios?
FRS radios typically reach about a mile in open terrain and much less inside buildings or dense woods. Expect reliable coverage across a store floor or campsite, not across a large property.
How long does the 1200mAh battery last?
Expect roughly 8 to 12 hours of light use and considerably less with near-constant transmitting. The six-way charger lets you top all radios up overnight in one place.
What comes in the box?
Six RT68H radios, six 1200mAh Li-ion batteries, six earpieces, six belt clips, six lanyard strings, one six-way charger and its adapter.
When is the best time to buy?
The set was $149.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, with only one store listing it new. Watch for holiday and back-to-school discounts, since multi-pack radios often drop then.
Where is the Retevis RT68H Two Way Radio with Earpieces and 6 Way Multi Charger(6 Pack) cheapest?
At Amazon, for $149.99, as of our latest check.
