The best new price is $79.99 at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Does it work with a computer?
Yes. It sends USB MIDI, so it can trigger drums in a DAW or music app. Check that your software accepts a class-compliant USB MIDI device.
Do I need a computer to use it?
No. It has built-in drum tones and demo songs, so you can play it on its own. A computer adds better sounds and recording.
How many pads does it have?
Five velocity-sensitive pads. That covers basic beats but not a full acoustic kit layout.
Can I plug in a kick or hi-hat pedal?
No pedal input is listed. Kick and hi-hat are played on the pads.
Is it good for a child?
It suits kids and beginners because it is small and simple. The small pads may frustrate older players who want a full kit.
Is $79.99 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, $79.99 at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other five-pad MIDI controllers before buying.
Where is the RockJam Tabletop 5 Pad Electronic MIDI Drum Kit cheapest?
At Kohl's, for $79.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the RockJam Tabletop 5 Pad Electronic MIDI Drum Kit?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 10 ratings.
