Is this a good TV for the price?

At $419.99 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a 65-inch 4K screen with Roku built in. Expect adequate rather than impressive picture quality.

Do I need a Roku stick with this TV?

No. The Roku streaming interface is built in, so you sign in and use apps directly on the TV.

Is the picture bright enough for a sunny room?

This is an LED set with modest brightness. It suits dimmer rooms better; in a bright room, expect some washout on dark scenes.

Should I buy a soundbar?

Most owners of budget TVs like this one do. The built-in speakers are fine for news but thin for movies.

Does it support 4K HDR streaming?

Yes. It has a 4K panel and HDR support, so compatible streaming apps can send 4K HDR content, though the HDR effect is limited by the panel.

Budget TVs like this tend to drop around Black Friday and the weeks before the Super Bowl. Track the price history before buying.

Our take on the Roku 65 Inch 4K HDR Smart TV

A 65-inch 4K LED TV with the Roku streaming interface built in, sold under the Roku brand rather than a partner's. It covers the basics for a big-screen living room set: 4K resolution, HDR support and the same Roku home screen found on Roku streamers. At $419.99 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the budget end of the 65-inch 4K market.
