Is the Roku Select Series 43" worth it?

At $279.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable buy for a secondary TV or casual streaming. If you care about deep blacks or 120 Hz gaming, spend more on a set with local dimming.

Does it support Dolby Vision?

No. It supports HDR10 and HDR10+, not Dolby Vision. Most streaming services will still send HDR10 where available.

Is 60 Hz enough for gaming?

For casual and last-gen console play, yes. It has no 120 Hz mode or VRR, so fast-paced current-gen gaming will feel limited.

The TV, its stand feet, a Roku remote and power cable. A wall mount is not included; the set uses a 400x300 VESA pattern.

Can I use it with Alexa or Google Assistant?

Yes. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control, and the Roku OS handles streaming apps directly.

Only one new price, $279.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, is tracked, so there is no history yet. Budget TVs like this typically drop around Black Friday and Super Bowl season.

Our take on the Roku Select Series 43" 4K Smart TV (2024)

The Roku Select Series 43" is Roku's entry-level 4K LED TV, built around the Roku streaming interface with a bezel-less screen, HDR10+ support and three HDMI ports. It runs at 60 Hz and covers the basics for streaming, cable and console use without extras like local dimming or a 120 Hz panel. The best new price is $279.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, the only new listing tracked, so there is no recent range to compare against. At that price it sits among the cheapest 43-inch 4K sets from a major streaming brand.
