Is the Roland FP-10 good for a beginner?

Yes. It has 88 weighted hammer-action keys and a realistic piano sound, which builds good habits from the start. You will want a stand, a bench and a better sustain pedal.

Does the FP-10 have Bluetooth?

No. It has no Bluetooth audio or MIDI. You can connect to a computer or app over USB-B, and there is a 1/8" headphone jack.

How does the FP-10 compare with the FP-30X?

The FP-30X adds Bluetooth, a stronger speaker system and more sounds. The FP-10 keeps the same PHA-4 keybed and core piano tone for less money.

What is in the box with the FP-10?

The piano, a music rest, a sustain pedal and a power adapter. A stand and bench are sold separately.

Can I use headphones with the FP-10?

Our take on the Roland FP-10 Black

The Roland FP-10 is a compact 88-key digital piano built for home practice and small stages. It uses Roland's PHA-4 Standard keybed with escapement and hammer action, and its SuperNATURAL sound engine covers acoustic piano plus electric piano and organ tones. It is a bare-bones instrument: no built-in rhythms, no Bluetooth, no line-in, and a small speaker system. At $419.99 at Musician's Friend as of November 7, 2026, it sits near the low end of its recent price range, and 3 stores list it new.
