Question 1

Do I need a box spring with this bed?

Accepted Answer

No. The Roman is a platform bed with slats included, so a mattress sits directly on the frame.

Question 2

What mattress size fits the 67-inch width?

Accepted Answer

A 67-inch width fits a queen mattress. Check the 89-inch depth against your room before ordering.

Question 3

How much weight does it hold?

Accepted Answer

The listed capacity is 700 lbs, which covers most couples and heavier sleepers.

Question 4

Is assembly difficult?

Accepted Answer

Assembly is required. The frame uses rubberwood and pine with slats, so expect a typical platform-bed build of an hour or more.

The fabric carries Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, and the brand lists the bed for kids. The 7-inch floor-to-frame height keeps it low.
