Question 1

Is the Rough Country bed mat worth it?

Accepted Answer

For $79.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to stop cargo sliding and protect the bed floor. It does not replace a full liner, so skip it if you want hard sidewall protection.

Question 2

Will it fit a 2024 Tacoma with a 5-foot bed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Rough Country lists it for 2024-2026 Tacomas with the 5-foot bed, in both 2WD and 4WD. Check your bed length before ordering, since the 6-foot bed uses a different mat.

Question 3

Does it need drilling or trimming?

Accepted Answer

It is a drop-in mat and does not require drilling. Trimming may be needed around bed accessories such as a bed extender or rail-mounted tie-downs.

Question 4

What is the warranty?

Accepted Answer

Rough Country backs it with a limited lifetime warranty. Keep your purchase receipt, since warranty claims usually require proof of purchase.

Question 5

When is the best time to buy it?

Accepted Answer

At $79.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the price is already low and only two stores carry it new. Watch for eBay coupons or sitewide sales rather than expecting deep store discounts.
