Is the Toyota Tacoma bed mat worth it?

For short-bed owners who carry loose cargo, yes. It costs far less than a spray-in liner and protects the bed floor from scratches and dents. It does not protect the bed sides.

Will it fit my Tacoma?

It fits short-bed Tacomas. Check your bed length before buying, because long-bed trucks need a different part. The part number is PT580-35050-SB.

Is it cheaper than a spray-in bed liner?

Yes. At $52.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs a fraction of a professional spray-in liner. A liner offers more durable, full-bed coverage.

What is the mat made of?

It is a high-strength, cord-enhanced rubber compound with a pebble finish. The cords keep the mat from stretching, and the texture helps grip cargo.

Does it come with a warranty?

Toyota lists a minimum 12-month warranty on the part. Keep your purchase receipt in case you need to make a claim.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices vary by seller. The best new price was $52.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, so compare across the three stores listing it before buying.

Our take on the Tacoma Bed Mat

The Toyota Tacoma Bed Mat (part PT580-35050-SB) is a factory accessory rubber mat for short-bed Tacomas. It uses a cord-reinforced rubber compound with a pebble finish to keep cargo from sliding and to protect the bed floor from scratches and dents. The best new price is $52.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with three stores listing it new. That is well below typical dealer pricing for the same part, so it is a cheap way to add factory fitment.
