Our take on the Rowe Jaxon Sofa Couch

The Rowe Jaxon is an 88-inch modern sofa with linen-like upholstery, high back, and two 22-inch throw pillows included. Its 39-inch depth and high-resiliency foam with polyester wrap cushions are built for lounging rather than upright sitting. Rowe is a North Carolina maker known for made-to-order upholstery, so the Jaxon is typically sold through specialty furniture retailers rather than big-box stores. Check the current price against its recent range before buying, since Rowe sofas are often discounted during seasonal furniture sales.

Questions and answers

Is the Rowe Jaxon worth the price?
It is worth it if you want a US-made sofa with a deep seat and high back and plan to keep it for years. If you need quick delivery or a stain-resistant fabric, a mass-market sofa may suit you better.
How does the Jaxon compare to Rowe's other sofas?
The Jaxon is one of Rowe's deeper, higher-backed models at 39 inches deep and 37 inches tall. Rowe's lower-back models feel more upright and take up less visual space.
What are the Jaxon's dimensions?
It measures 88 inches long, 37 inches high, and 39 inches deep. Measure your doorway and room before ordering, since the depth is larger than many sofas.
What is included with the sofa?
The sofa comes with two 22-inch throw pillows in the matching or coordinated fabric. Frames and cushions are included; legs may require minor assembly.
When is the Jaxon cheapest?
Rowe sofas typically see the deepest discounts during major furniture sale periods, such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
Is the linen-like fabric durable?
Linen-like upholstery is durable for normal household use but is less stain-resistant than performance fabrics. It can wrinkle and show marks, so consider a protectant or a slipcover in high-traffic homes.
