Is the RPM Jade worth $200?

For advanced players who want durable spin and power, yes. The full-foam core and silicon-carbide face are built to last longer than most textured paddles. Beginners will not get $200 of value from it.

How does the Jade compare to the RPM other paddles?

The Jade is the newest full-foam model in RPM's lineup and is positioned as the power-and-spin option. It uses the MPP floating core with a SICmatrix surface rather than a honeycomb core.

Is the RPM Jade USAP approved?

Yes. RPM lists the Jade as USAP registered, so it is legal for sanctioned tournament play.

What is the swing weight and how does it play?

Swing weight is 107 with a 7.8 oz average weight, which is on the heavier side. Expect plow-through on drives but slower hand speed at the net.

What grip size does it have?

The grip is 5.5 inches long with a 4.125-inch circumference. Players with large hands may want an overgrip to build it up.

When is the Jade cheapest?

The best new price was $200.00 at eBay as of November 8, 2026. Holiday sales and end-of-season clearances are the usual times for discounts.

What reviewers say

Owner feedback on the Jade centers on its spin and its heft. Players report strong, lasting spin and a stable, forgiving face, while some find the weight tiring and the power hard to control at first.

About the RPM Jade 16mm Wide Body Pickleball Paddle

Free standard U.S. shipping.

The RPM Jade is the newest addition to RPM's full-foam lineup, built around a single obsession: spin that lasts.

Engineered as a power paddle with exceptional spin, the Jade delivers explosive pop balanced by a level of predictability and touch that rewards precise, high-level play.

At the heart of the Jade is our MPP floating core. This full-foam construction is engineered to resist the breakdown and dead spots that wear down other paddles over time. The floating MPP core is surrounded by soft EVA foam, tuned for elite power, an oversized sweet spot, and long-term durability.

But the true star of the Jade is its grit. At RPM, we're always in the pursuit of more—and Tier 1 durable roughness has been on our radar for a very long time. We went through prototype after prototype, refining and testing until we landed on a surface we're genuinely proud of: one that generates elite spin and, critically, holds it—shot after shot, season after season. With our proprietary SICmatrix surface, the Jade generates spin most paddles can't match and keeps generating it far longer than paddles that smooth out and fade with use.

The result is a paddle designed for players who want elite spin that doesn't wear down, explosive power they can control, and predictable performance from baseline drives to fast-paced kitchen exchanges.
