Is the RPM Jade Widebody 16mm worth $200?

It is a premium-priced pro-level paddle with a 16mm foam core, wide face and textured silicon carbide surface. At $200.00 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it is worth it if you want power and stability and can handle the 7.8oz weight.

How does the 16mm core compare to a 13mm paddle?

The 16mm core is thicker, so it gives more touch, control and ball pocketing but less pop than a 13mm paddle. The Jade leans toward controlled power rather than pure speed.

Is the RPM Jade too heavy for quick hands at the net?

At 7.8oz with a 107 swing weight and 6.9 twist weight, it is on the heavier side. It suits players with strong hands; if you rely on fast reactions, a lighter paddle may serve you better.

What surface does the RPM Jade use?

It uses RPM's proprietary SICmatrix silicon carbide surface with a durable texture for spin. The texture is meant to hold up over time rather than wear smooth quickly.

What grip size does it have?

The grip is 5.5 inches long with a 4.125-inch circumference, a fairly standard size that fits most hands and supports two-handed backhands.

Only one new price was found: $200.00 at eBay as of November 8, 2026. Watch for pre-order and launch discounts, since new paddles often see early promotions.
