Is the Ruggable rug really machine washable?

Yes. The cover separates from the pad and washes in a standard home machine; the pad stays on the floor. Follow the care label for water temperature and drying.

Will it fit in my washing machine?

Small and medium sizes usually fit a standard top- or front-load washer. Large covers often need a commercial machine, so check the cover size against your drum capacity.

Does it work on carpet or only hard floors?

It is designed for indoor use and the nonslip pad grips best on hard floors. On wall-to-wall carpet the pad can still hold, but check the pad type Ruggable recommends for carpet.

The low pile and stain-resistant cover handle pet hair and accidents well, and the cover washes. Muddy paw prints wipe off more easily than on a plush rug.
