Our take on the Ruggable Patchwork Boho Washable Rug

The Ruggable Patchwork Boho is a two-piece rug: a low-pile flatwoven polyester cover that clips onto a separate nonslip pad. The cover is machine washable and treated to resist water and stains, which is the main reason people pick Ruggable over a standard rug. This listing is a round rug, and the stated size is a 365 cm length by 75 cm width. Its only recorded price is $245.40, so there is no recent range to compare against yet.

Best forHouseholds with kids or petsDining rooms and entryways that see spillsRenters who want a washable, low-profile rugAnyone who wants to swap covers without buying a new pad
Pros
  • Cover is machine washable, so stains are not permanent
  • Water- and stain-resistant flatwoven polyester
  • Low 2 mm pile clears doors and slides under furniture
  • Two-piece system lets you change covers and keep the pad
  • Flatwoven surface is easy to vacuum and does not trap pet hair
Cons
  • Thin and firm underfoot, with little cushioning
  • Round shape and 75 cm width limit where it fits
  • Cover and pad are sold as a set, so the pad is a repeat cost
  • Light colors on a boho pattern can show dirt between washes

Questions and answers

Is the Ruggable Patchwork Boho rug worth it?
It is worth it if washability matters more than plush comfort. You pay a premium for the two-piece system, but a spilled drink or pet accident means a machine wash instead of a replacement.
How does the Ruggable system work?
The cover attaches to a separate nonslip pad with a grippy underside. You lift the cover off to wash it and lay it back on the pad, and you can buy new covers later without replacing the pad.
Can the cover go in a home washing machine?
Yes, the cover is machine washable. Use a cold or gentle cycle and air-dry or tumble low, since high heat can shrink the backing and make the edges curl.
What size is this round rug?
The listing gives a 365 cm length and 75 cm width, which is a narrow shape rather than a full circle. Measure your space before ordering, because a round rug this narrow suits hallways and small areas better than a living room centerpiece.
Does it work in homes with pets?
It is a reasonable pick for pets. The flat weave releases hair easily and the cover washes, but the thin pile gives little cushioning for older dogs or cats that lie on the floor.
When is the best time to buy?
Ruggable discounts most around major sales events and sitewide promotions. The only recorded price here is $245.40, so watch for a markdown below that before buying.
