Does the lamp come with bulbs?

No. It takes two E26 screw-base bulbs up to 60 W each, which you buy separately. LED bulbs at that wattage equivalent give the 830-lumen brightness without much heat.

With two 60 W-equivalent bulbs it reaches about 830 lumens, enough for ambient bedside or sofa-side light. It is not bright enough to be a sole reading lamp for long sessions.

Is the capiz shell real?

Yes. The gourd-shaped base is resin covered in natural capiz shell, so each lamp has slight variations in tone and pattern.

It stands 20.5 inches tall with a 12-inch-wide drum shade and weighs 4 lbs. The base is 11 inches tall and 6 inches wide.

Is $111.99 a good price?

Five stores list it new, and $111.99 at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026 is the lowest of them. That puts it at the bottom of its current range, so it is a reasonable time to buy.

Where does it work best?

Safavieh positions it beside a sofa or a bed. The ivory finish and shell texture suit neutral, coastal and traditional rooms.
