Is $174.99 a good price for the pair?

It is the only new price listed, $174.99 at Gilt as of November 7, 2026, so there is no second new listing to undercut it. That works out to about $87.50 per lamp, which is reasonable for a matched UL-listed pair.

How many bulbs does each lamp take?

Each lamp takes two bulbs, up to 100W per bulb, so the pair uses four bulbs total. That gives you up to 400W of light across both lamps.

How tall are the lamps and how much space do they need?

They stand 30 inches tall with a 14-inch wide and deep base footprint. Check that your table or nightstand is at least 14 inches across.

The listing does not spell out the shade, so confirm with the store before ordering. The lamps are built for standard bulbs, not integrated LEDs.

Can these be used outdoors?

No. They are UL listed for indoor lighting only, so keep them out of covered porches and damp rooms.

Our take on the Safavieh Marcelo Table Lamps Set of 2

The Safavieh Marcelo is a pair of 30-inch table lamps in a brass finish, made of iron with a 14-inch round footprint. Each lamp holds two bulbs up to 100W, so the pair gives you four light sources for a living room or a pair of nightstands. Both are UL listed for indoor use. The best new price is $174.99 at Gilt as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.
