Is the Sage Oracle Jet worth it over a cheaper bean-to-cup?

It earns its price if you want a 58mm portafilter, a wide grind range and fast cold brew in one machine. A cheaper bean-to-cup will usually skip the standard portafilter and the cold brew function.

How does it compare with the Sage Oracle Touch?

The Jet adds cold brew and Wi-Fi control and uses a touchscreen like the Touch. Both are automatic bean-to-cup machines with a built-in grinder; the Jet is the newer, more versatile option.

How long does cold brew take?

About 3 minutes per batch, far faster than the 12 to 24 hours a steeped cold brew needs. Expect a lighter, less concentrated result than a long steep.

What comes in the box?

The machine, a 58mm stainless steel portafilter and a Breville ClaroSwiss water filter. Check the listing for any additional baskets or accessories.

Does it fit under standard kitchen cabinets?

It stands 16.75 in tall, so measure your clearance before buying. Many standard upper cabinets leave less room than that above the counter.

Espresso machines like this usually drop during Black Friday, holiday sales and end-of-season promotions. Watch the price history rather than buying at first sight.
