Is the Sage The Soft Top Luxe worth $131.61?

It is the lowest new price across the two stores that list it as of November 8, 2026. You pay for the soft-open lid, preset temperatures and stainless steel build rather than raw boiling speed.

What are the five preset temperatures for?

They let you heat water below boiling for green tea, white tea, oolong, coffee and black tea. You pick a setting instead of guessing how long to switch it off.

Does it have a tea infuser?

No. The kettle has no infuser basket or filter for loose leaves, only a removable anticalc filter. You brew in a separate pot or cup.

How big is it on the counter?

It measures 23.3 cm high, 24.3 cm wide and 17.4 cm deep, with a 1.7 L capacity. That is a full-family size, not a compact one-cup kettle.

Is the kettle cordless?

Yes. It lifts off a 360° swivel base, so you can pour and carry it without a cord. The base stays plugged in.
