Is the Salomon Crosstrak Powder Waterproof actually waterproof?

Yes. The upper is waterproof and the lining is leather, fleece and textile, so it handles wet trails and light snow. It is not Gore-Tex, so it breathes less than Gore-Tex models.

How does the wide fit compare to other Salomon women's shoes?

This model is listed as wide, which is roomier than Salomon's standard women's fit. Women who normally size up to get width may be able to stay at their usual size.

Is it warm enough for winter hiking?

The fleece lining adds warmth, so it suits cold-weather day hikes and winter walking. For summer use, expect a warmer, less breathable ride.

What is a fair price for the Crosstrak Powder Waterproof?

The best new price is $139.96 at Rutabaga Paddlesports as of November 8, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new. Compare across those stores before buying.

What sizes are available?
