Questions and answers

Is the Samsonite Impulse XLT set worth it?
At $232.19 for two expandable spinners, it is a reasonable mid-range price for a matched Samsonite set. The soft-sided build keeps it affordable, but you give up the scratch resistance of a hard shell.
Is the carry-on size accepted by major airlines?
At 20.25 x 14.5 x 8 inches, the carry-on fits within the common 22 x 14 x 9 inch limit for most US carriers. Check your airline's rules, since some budget carriers are stricter.
How much extra space does expansion add?
The carry-on expands 0.75 inches and the medium expands 1.5 inches in depth. That is enough for a few extra layers or souvenirs, not a full second packing load.
Does the set include a lock?
No built-in TSA lock is listed. You would need to add a cable or padlock if you want to lock the zippers.
What is in the box?
You get the 20.25-inch carry-on (7.6 lbs) and the 25-inch medium (9.9 lbs). No packing cubes, locks or other accessories are listed.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest recorded daily price is $232.19, set on October 31, 2026, and it has not dropped below that since tracking began. There is no discount pattern yet, so watch for seasonal luggage sales.
Is the Samsonite Impulse XLT 2 Piece Luggage Set at its lowest price?
