Our take on the Tag Freehold 5-Piece Softside Spinner Luggage Set

The Tag Freehold 5-Piece Softside Spinner Luggage Set is a budget-priced nesting set of softside bags on four-wheel spinners, sold in gray with a floral print. The five pieces cover carry-on through large checked sizes, so one purchase handles short trips and long ones. Softside construction gives some give for overpacking, but the fabric and wheels are built to a price. It is a value set for occasional travelers rather than a buy-it-for-life kit.

Questions and answers

Is the Tag Freehold 5-piece set worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if you need several bags cheaply for occasional trips. If you fly often or check bags regularly, spending more on a two- or three-piece set from a stronger brand usually lasts longer.
How do the five sizes work?
The pieces nest inside each other for storage, and the smaller ones meet carry-on dimensions while the larger ones are checked sizes. Check each bag's dimensions against your airline's limits before flying, since budget sets sometimes run slightly over.
Does it have four spinner wheels?
Yes, the bags are four-wheel spinners, so they roll upright and can be pushed alongside you. On softside budget sets the wheels are the most common wear item, so avoid dragging them over curbs and stairs.
Is the softside fabric water resistant?
The polyester-style fabric sheds light rain but is not waterproof. Pack electronics and documents in a plastic bag or dry sack if you expect heavy weather.
What is in the box?
You get all five nested bags as one shipment. There are no packing cubes, locks or accessories included, so plan to buy a TSA lock if you check the larger pieces.
When is it cheapest?
Sets like this usually drop around back-to-school season and Black Friday. Watch the price history and buy when it sits near its recent low rather than at full list.
What do buyers say about the Tag Freehold 5-Piece Softside Spinner Luggage Set?
