Questions and answers

Is the Carbon X 3 piece set worth it?
At $323.99 for three spinners, it works out to about $108 per bag, which is reasonable for Samsonite hard-shell luggage. It makes the most sense if you need all three sizes; buying one or two bags separately may cost less.
Is the carry-on size accepted by major airlines?
The carry-on in the set is built to standard cabin dimensions, but always check your airline's current limits before flying. The medium and large bags are meant to be checked.
Do the bags expand?
Yes, the set is described as expanding for added packing capacity. Note that an expanded bag may exceed carry-on or checked-bag size limits, so pack it closed for flights.
What is in the box?
The set includes three spinners: a carry-on, a medium and a large. Each has a push-button multi-stage handle and dual spinner wheels.
How does it compare with Samsonite's other hard-shell sets?
Carbon X uses a boxy design with an industrial-grade metal handle system and dual spinner wheels. Other Samsonite lines differ mainly in shell material, weight and wheel type, so compare those if you want a lighter or more scratch-resistant set.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded daily price is $323.99, dated October 29, 2026, which is both the low and the high so far. Watch the price history around major sales periods to see whether it drops below that.
