Questions and answers

Is the Voltage DLX 3 piece set worth it?
At $391.49 for three hard-shell cases with TSA locks and spinner wheels, it is a reasonable price for a matching Samsonite set. It suits travelers who check bags and want a durable shell more than a light one.
Does the carry-on USB port charge my phone?
Only if you add your own power bank in the interior battery pocket and connect it. The battery is not included, and the port is a pass-through, not a charger.
How big is the carry-on?
The carry-on is 9 inches deep overall and holds 46 L when expanded. Check your airline's carry-on limits before relying on it as a cabin bag.
What is in the box?
The set includes the carry-on, the medium case and the large case. The large case measures 31.8 by 22 inches overall.
How does it compare with soft-sided luggage?
The polypropylene shell protects contents better and shrugs off rain, but it weighs more and has less give when overpacked. Soft bags are lighter and easier to squeeze into tight spaces.
When is the set cheapest?
The only recorded daily price is $391.49, so there is no lower recent price to time a purchase around. Watch for set discounts around major sales periods.
