Is the 4TB 990 PRO worth it over the 2TB?

Only if you need the space in one drive. The 4TB costs far more per terabyte, and most users get by with 2TB plus a second drive.

Does it work in a PS5?

Yes, but use the 990 PRO with Heatsink version or add a compatible heatsink. The bare drive can overheat in the PS5 slot.

How does it compare with the 980 PRO?

The 990 PRO is faster and more power efficient, with higher endurance. If the 980 PRO is much cheaper, the gap is small in everyday use.

Is it compatible with my laptop?

It fits any M.2 2280 slot with PCIe NVMe support. The 4TB model is single-sided, which helps in thin laptops.
