Is the Galaxy A36 5G worth it at $137.98?

At $137.98 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it is a strong value: an OLED screen, 5G and a 50 MP camera for well under $200. Only two stores price it new, so stock may be limited.

How does it compare with the Galaxy A35?

The A36 adds a brighter OLED panel, a higher-resolution 12 MP front camera and longer software support. The A35 is cheaper but older.

How long does the battery last?

Owners report a full day of mixed use. Fast charging is supported, but the charger is not always included, so check the box contents.

Does it support dual SIM and eSIM?

Yes. It takes a nano-SIM and an eSIM, so you can run two lines, for example a local and a travel plan.

Should I get 6 GB or 8 GB RAM?

The 8 GB version handles multitasking better. If you keep many apps open or play games, the extra RAM is worth it; light users will be fine with 6 GB.
