Is the Galaxy A37 5G worth it at $278.99?

At $278.99 at Rexi Resale as of November 4, 2026, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, 256GB of storage and a 50MP camera. That is strong hardware for the money if you are on Xfinity Mobile.

Can I use this phone on another carrier?

No. The SM-A376U is Xfinity-locked, so it will not accept a T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon SIM until Xfinity unlocks it, which usually requires the phone to be paid off and active on the network for a set period.

How does it compare with the Galaxy A36?

The A37 steps up to a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel rated at 1900 nits and a 12MP front camera. The A36 is the older model and typically sells for less; pick the A37 if screen brightness and selfies matter to you.

Does it support eSIM and a physical SIM at the same time?

Yes. It takes a nano SIM and an eSIM, so you can run two lines, though on a locked Xfinity unit both lines must be Xfinity lines.

What comes in the box?

Expect the phone, a USB-C cable and a SIM tool. Samsung does not include a charging brick with most Galaxy A models, so plan on using your own.

When is the price likely to drop?

Carrier-locked A-series phones usually fall around Black Friday and when a successor launches. The current $278.99 at Rexi Resale is already below the typical launch price for this tier.
