Our take on the Samsung Galaxy S24 5G 128GB

The Galaxy S24 is Samsung's 2024 flagship phone, sold here in the Cobalt Violet color with 128GB of storage and 5G on an unlocked single-SIM setup. It pairs a 120Hz OLED screen with a triple rear camera, wireless charging and a fingerprint scanner. At $399.95 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits well below what this phone sold for at launch, so it is a discounted older flagship rather than a current model.

Questions and answers

Is the Galaxy S24 still worth buying in 2026?
Yes if you want a bright 120Hz OLED screen and a good triple camera for well under flagship money. It is a generation or two behind the newest S series, so skip it if you need the fastest chip or the longest battery life.
How does it compare with the Galaxy S25?
The S25 has a newer chip and better battery efficiency, but the S24 keeps the same 120Hz OLED approach and camera flexibility. At $399.95 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, the S24 is the cheaper way into a Samsung flagship.
Does it support wireless charging?
Yes. The phone supports wireless charging and fast wired charging, though you need to supply your own charger.
Is it unlocked and compatible with my carrier?
It is sold unlocked with GSM and 5G support and takes a nano SIM or eSIM. Check your carrier's bands before buying, since it is a single-SIM model.
What is in the box?
Samsung ships the phone with a USB-C cable and SIM tool; no charger or case is included.
When is it cheapest?
Older flagships tend to drop around Samsung's new-phone launches and major sales events. The current best new price is $399.95 at eBay as of November 5, 2026.
Where is the Samsung Galaxy S24 5G 128GB cheapest?
At Walmart, for $674.99, as of our latest check.
