Is the Tab S8 Ultra worth it over the Tab S8+?

If you want the biggest screen and DeX workspace, yes. The S8+ is lighter and easier to hold, so choose it if portability matters more than screen size.

Does it come with the S Pen?

Yes, the S Pen is included and attaches magnetically to the back for charging. A keyboard cover is not included.

How long does the battery last?

Samsung rates it at about 8 hours of use from the 11,200 mAh battery. Heavy gaming or long video sessions will drain it faster.

Can I add more storage?

Yes, there is a microSD slot that accepts cards up to 1TB, on top of the 512GB built in.

Is it good for drawing?

Yes. The large 120Hz AMOLED screen and included S Pen make it a strong canvas for sketching and note-taking.

Does it work as a laptop replacement?

For light work, yes. DeX gives windowed apps and a taskbar, but heavy desktop software is not available on Android.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is Samsung's largest tablet, with a 14.6-inch 2960x1848 Super AMOLED screen at 120Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 512GB of storage and 11,200 mAh battery. It ships with the magnetic S Pen and runs Android 12 with One UI 4.1, and DeX mode turns it into a laptop-style workspace.
