Questions and answers

Is the Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F worth it at $699.99?
At $699.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a strong value for a 40-inch 4K gaming monitor with 180Hz and FreeSync Premium Pro. Competing 4K high-refresh panels often cost more.
Is 180Hz worth it over a 144Hz monitor?
Yes if your GPU can push high frame rates at 4K. The jump from 144Hz to 180Hz is smaller than from 60Hz, but motion stays smoother in fast games.
Does it work well with a PS5 or Xbox Series X?
It has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and a 4K panel, so consoles run at 4K. Check that your console's refresh mode matches what the monitor accepts over HDMI.
How big is the 40-inch screen on a desk?
The 1000R curve brings the edges toward you, so it fits closer than a flat 40-inch screen. Plan on a desk at least 30 inches deep for comfortable viewing.
What is in the box?
You get the monitor, its stand and the cabling Samsung ships with the unit. Confirm the exact cable list with the seller before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Gaming monitors usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The current $699.99 is already near the low end of its recent range.
Where is the Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F Series 40" Curved Gaming Monitor cheapest?
At Walmart, for $699.99, 30% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F Series 40" Curved Gaming Monitor?
