Is the S85F worth it over the S90F?

The S90F is brighter and has better anti-glare treatment. The S85F costs less and keeps the same OLED contrast and 120 Hz panel, so it is the better value if your room is not washed out by daylight.

Does it support Dolby Vision?

No. Samsung TVs support HDR10+ and HGiG instead, so Dolby Vision content from streaming services plays in HDR10.

Is 120 Hz good for gaming?

Yes. The 120 Hz panel with HGiG and low input lag suits PS5 and Xbox Series X at 4K 120 Hz, though it lacks the 144 Hz mode of Samsung's higher OLED models.

How many HDMI ports does it have?

Four HDMI inputs, plus USB and Ethernet. Wireless connections include Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth.

Do I need a soundbar?

It is worth considering. The TV has Dolby Atmos and top-firing speakers, but a single speaker array cannot match a dedicated soundbar for bass and surround.

Its current price is the lowest in its recent range. Big OLEDs typically drop further around Black Friday and during spring clearance when new models arrive.
